Whidbey Island Vintage Style

The Vintage-theme wedding is still very popular, and will continue to be top-style for 2013.  This style is a great fit for Whidbey Island.  One of the Island’s best partners for this vibe is The Wayfarer.  The charming, rustic, relaxed feeling of this barn-based venue was the perfect setting for a photo shoot earlier this season.  The lovely bride was made even more remarkable by Nikki of Rumours Salon, who did her hair and make-up.  Suzy at Those We Fancy Photography provided the stunning and fabulous images.  Thanks to Wayfarer for the dress, setting, and for getting us all together.

Peach and blush are top colors this season, and I think they will persist in popularity.  The Bridal bouquet features fragrant, sumptuous ‘Caramel Antike’ garden rose and with peach and blush tea and sweetheart roses.  Tuberose, Stock, and Mint bring incredible fragrance to the luxurious, romantic style of this bouquet.  A cascade of peach and ivory ribbons ornamented with single tuberose blossoms adds a touch of nostalgia and uniqueness.
