In the spring I had the opportunity to pair up with some of my favorite Seattle wedding pros for a style shoot at the glamorous Canlis Restaurant in Seattle. Our theme was selected by planner extraordinaire Jillian Cook of Perfect Harmony Events and the whole thing was beautifully captured by Laura Marchbanks Photography for a style shoot One of the hottest trends this year is high romance with luxurious old-world details. We executed a French-inspired interpretation of this, selecting pink and black as our colors. And remember, just click on an image to make it bigger!
Big thanks to the rest of the team – especially Stella the French Bulldog – without whom we never would have been able to pull this off.
This shoot was a chance for me to use some of my favorite spring blooms – white Lilac, black-centered white Anenome, Ranunculus, Peony, Anthuriscus. It was so much fun!
I love these mercury glass compotes!
For the bridal bouquet I used cream Roses, black centered Anenome, white Peony, Nerine, and black Anthriscus foliage. For the boutonniere, an Anenome with fern and a Saxifrage leaf.
