How to Make a Botanical Chair
Have you ever wanted to make your own botanical throne or chair, but didn’t know how? Well here I am to your rescue! Check out this short video to see how I made the thrown shown above. Then try your own – it’s fun, and easier than it looks!
Materials Used:
A chair for the base – I got mine for $4 from the local thrift store!
Chicken wire – an infinitely useful mechanic
Moss – I pretty much can’t do an installation without this, since I have taken the #floristsagainstfoam pledge to never use foam!
Zip ties – I’m pretty sure we could get ourselves to the moon with zip ties if we had to.
Botanicals – what’s growing in your yard?!
Plus spray adhesive, spray paint, bindwire and a couple of water tubes.
Visit this post to see more of the floral art I created for this styled shoot. And if you do make your own throne, please do make sure to share a pic with me!
