I love this dress made by French Knot Couture. Owner Colleen Thorson is one talented designer and seamstress! Isn’t the scalloped neckline just cute as can be? When I saw the ribbon on the vintage treasure shelf, I knew that I had to use it to go with one of her creations. I wanted the bouquet to be as sweet and simple as the dress, so I chose ‘Patience’, a David Austin hybrid, for its amazing fragrance. I trimmed it with Pieris which mimics the shape of the flower on the ribbon. I think they are a lovely little match. Both are perfect for a Whidbey Island bride! A Garden Rose bridal bouquet is both demure and indulgent, just like the gown.
Thanks as always to Michael of Stadler Studio Photography for the great images!
