This was one of my favorite weddings of 2015. Jason & Sabrina chose Fireseed Catering on Whidbey Island to tie their knot, and I was a lucky girl to work with them to help with their flowers and day-of coordination. They are one of the nicest pair of folks ever! I positively loved this blush and lavender wedding color palette and the flowers we chose for it.
Sabrina’s palette was blush, pink, lavender and white with soft greens and metallic accents. Theirs was a June wedding – the perfect time to take advantage of luscious seasonal Peonies, California-grown Roses, and lots of other great garden flowers, not to mention the fresh produce from their own garden that Fireseed uses to cook their acclaimed meals! Enjoy these lovely photos by Julianna Rennard.
Here comes the bride!
Her groom awaits her.
For better or worse, she takes him as her husband. I’m not sure what is going on with the officiant – maybe he is collecting on a bet the bride would say yes?! Or maybe he’s just getting the rings…
Beautiful bridesmaids hold bouquets rich with Roses, Peonies, Ranunculus, Sweet Peas and other summer yummies. The blush and lavender wedding flowers go so well with the lovely dresses.
Look at those GORGEOUS vintage-y Ranunculus in Sabrina’s bouquet!

Peonies, Roses, Sweet Peas – Oh my!
Elevated centerpieces bring style and scale to the large dining room
Delicate foliage runners & candlelight
Fireseed’s food is always tasty and the pastries are to die for!
As mother of the groom, I want to add that Tobey, the Vases Wild staff and the whole staff at Fireseed Catering made this wedding more than perfect! Thank you forever.
Could you tell the names of the flowers contained in the bridesmaids’ bouquets?
Hi Mary Beth,
Boy, it’s been awhile… I think that the Roses were Ocean Song and either Quicksand or Amnesia or maybe even Metallina; there’s white freesia and astrantia, blush peony, sweet peas and Baptisia greens. That’s not comprehensive, but I hope it helps!
Warmly,
Tobey
